The Centre has finalised the modalities of talks which may revolve around giving ‘‘more powers’’ to the Darjeeling hills instead of discussion on grant of a separate state to the agitating Gorkhas.

Priests came from New Delhi to conduct the bhoomi puja of Priyanka Gandhi’s hill house next to the presidential retreat in Himachal Pradesh. Priyanka was present at the ceremony on Thursday at Charabra, 13km from Shimla.
